Our Story
From a Policy Mandate to a Platform
When Republic Act 11223 — the Universal Health Care Act — was signed into law in 2019, it set an ambitious mandate: every Filipino should have access to a comprehensive, unified health system. But the gap between policy and implementation is wide. Health facilities across the country run on incompatible systems. Patient records don't follow patients. Data that could save lives sits siloed in disconnected databases.
Vitasalus was built to close that gap. We are a Health Information Technology company that designs, builds, and operates the interoperability infrastructure that the Philippine health system needs to fulfill the UHC mandate — not in theory, but in practice.
Our team brings together expertise in health informatics, enterprise integration, government IT, and Philippine health policy. We understand both the technical complexity of health data exchange and the institutional realities of working within the Philippine public health system.
